MEN IN BLACK: THE GAME

A pivotal movie in my early teenage years was the Will Smith starring blockbuster Men In Black. Much like any other major movie at the time, a video game tie-in was released. Developed by Gigawatt Studios with the underrated SouthPeak Interactive (of Temüjin fame) handling publishing duties, this Resident Evil-like action adventure went somewhat under the radar back in 1997.

Gamma Incel Cantina

Here's a Cha'alt playtest packet that veers on the border of Alpha Blue.

It's called Gamma Incel Cantina, inspired by a comment Prince of Nothing made on his blog.

What is it?  A sci-fi tavern not too far away from The Black Pyramid, filled with 69 NPCs.  Each NPC has between 3 - 7 descriptors to help the beleaguered GM roleplay interactions with PCs.

I'm looking for feedback, but also extra funds to pay for additional Cha'alt artwork.  While adequate, the Kickstarter wasn't the smashing success many of us had hoped for. 

Oh yeah, there's also a d100 random table that will give you all 6 of the standard D&D ability scores in one roll.  3d6 in order... hours of rolling and recording results from myself and various family member.

It debuted at GaryCon and nearly made grown men cry at the table.  Yay!  ;)

Nonsense And Other Observations About Dracula/Horror Of Dracula

As much as I love Dracula (1958)/Horror of Dracula, I find it has a lot of plot holes, ideas that don't make a lot of sense and other weirdness.  I started to write down certain observations as I was watching the film and eventually they became so long that I thought them worth putting them up in a blog post.  These observations as I have put them to type have been as timestamped to the times (roughly) in the film to which they most apply.  I am using the 2012 Hammer Restoration found on the 2013 Region B/2 Blu-ray/DVD from Lionsgate with altered color timing by a fan (which eliminates the overly-blue tint found on that disc).  Any DVD or Blu-ray release should be able to follow along without too much difficulty.
